Medical Consultations
The Family Hospital has a broad range of specialities to take care of illness of all specialities including all diagnostic modalities.
If your patient requires consultation and advise to a speciality not available at the Family Hospital, feel free to get in touch with Nurse or Doctor and we will see that the specific doctor or speciality is arranged for you.
If you wish to have a second opinion, we will be very happy to arrange the doctor of your choice and speciality from the hospital panel of doctors or doctors from other major hospitals.
If you wish to have a consultation from another physician within the hospital, please consult the hospital physician responsible for your care and indicate your wish to have a second opinion. The physician involved will be supportive and helpful in facilitating this process.
If you wish to have a consultation from a physician who is outside of the hospital , please convey this request to the physician in charge of your care, or to the Head Nurse who will refer your request to the Medical Director who will facilitate a consultation at the earliest.
Our hospital policy necessitates that all consultations must be physician to physician. You should also know that any physician who does not have privileges in our hospital must have appropriate qualifications and approved by our Medical Director before he/she is permitted to provide assessment and treatment to the patients of the Family Hospital.
